Good evening,

has anyone of you ever seen a published departure that includes a descent segment, or an arrival including a climb segment (before the missed approach)?

I can't imagine that something like this exists, or has existed. Perhaps a leg going over a mountain, followed by a valley with an overhead traffic corridor -- but that would be quite bizarre.

I don't mean live ATC clearances. I mean published standard procedures.

Cheers,

I dont think that it would be doable under TERPS criteria. If you need to do that, say for terrain, then you build a fix with a higher crossing altitude above the point where the anti-descent or anti-climb is required.

Worldflight maybe ... they have to fly under Sydney Harbour Bridge first. ;)
